The best break from the Minnesota cold in January is a Caribbean cruise. The Disney Magic visited Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Disney's Bahamian island. The weather was perfect, the water was blue and I didn't get a Blackberry signal. Life was good.
Snorkling on Grand Cayman is amazing. It's supposed to be one of the best places in the world. We stopped along one of the beaches near the shops. It wasn't much for playing in the water because of the rocks, but there was a lot of fish to look at.
